Looking at higher education options there are many options to choose from for a media-related course. For example, Teesside University offers a media production course that enables you to work on original projects and learn all about the different media genres as well as improve productivity and creative skills all while getting used to and operating professional standard equipment. An alternative to this is the Media Production course that De Montfort University in Leicester offers. The course lasts 3 years in which you will do the following things.

From this information I can see that you will develop a lot of skills including imagining capture and processing, this will help you to progress further into the industry and appeal to more companies who are looking for these specific working skills. You will develop audio recording skills which will help you if you want to go into the radio sector or work in some sort of recording studio. Overall, this course clearly offers a lot to the student and will help them with their progression into the media industry by helping them develop their skills in all areas of the media industry.

Evaluation

    Evaluation In this post I will be going over all the tasks I have worked on over the past few months, evaluating them as much I as can in the process talking about what's good and what I've learned then also talking about what was bad and what I didn't learn. Research Into Future Options So I conducted some research into universities, apprenticeships and employment within the industry to help get an idea about what I could possibly get into in the industry. I researched Into different universities and what courses they offer to find out what options I have after college. I also researched into apprenticeships that I could apply for and found that companies such as the BBC offer apprenticeships to college leavers to help them get into the industry.
